Ingredients

At Salvge we try to waste as little as possible. The ingredients for Box Tee in slate is derived from The Shirt in Eucalyptus dark’s post dye bath. The remaining liquid is first heated and then fermented, this process enriches the colour and results in mottled shades of grey with subtle green undertones. Materials

We are super proud to be making our Box Tee’s out of Good Earth Cotton. This particular cut is a thick 200gsm with an impeccable feel. Good Earth Cotton creates some of the worlds finest cotton using regenerative farming, they are C02 positive and offer a fully traceable production line. Find out more about our materials here.

We believe that the ingredients we need to dye textiles are all around us, trees, seeds and food waste can make amazing colours. We can avoid the need for chemical dyes that cause massive harm to the environment and waste tremendous amounts of water and energy.

Whilst we realise that no new clothing is completely sustainable, we strive to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible. Our garments are dyed with kitchen waste like onion skins or from foraged leaves and barks.
